Seppeltsfield is set for a boosted presence in China, with the 167 year old estate partnering with a retailer offering delivery of wine in as little as 29 minutes.
Seppeltsfield has announced a partnership with Along Jiuzhida, headquartered in Harbin city in Heilongjiang province, which operates a network of over 300 liquor retail stores and e-commerce platforms across North Eastern China.
In addition to Along Jiuzhida’s liquor retail store network, the company has forged a speciality in expedited delivery, promising customer delivery in certain city locations within 29 minutes of being ordered. Similarly to the principle of Ubereats, wine can be ordered online, over the phone or via their mobile apps and promptly delivered door-to-door utilising a network of drivers and mobile couriers.
The partnership has seen Seppeltsfield launched this month in each of Along Jiuzhida’s stores and promoted online, including a selection of fortified wines and the estate’s recently released ‘Village’ Barossa red and white wines.
