The Seppeltsfield Cellar Door is located in the redeveloped 1900 Seppelt Bottling Hall, showcased in a world-class blend of historical and contemporary architecture.
The Cellar Door allows for intimate wine tasting experiences through four separate circular tasting alcoves known as ‘PODS’, creating a unique setting and ambience during your visit. This is complemented with a VIP mezzanine lounge where private and luxury tastings are held.
Original slate from Seppeltsfield’s 1888 Gravity Cellar can be identified within a centrepiece fire place, as well as sentinel wall features that are the signature of renowned architect, Max Pritchard.
The revitalised Seppeltsfield Cellar Door has been welcomed with a number of awards highlighting the estate’s reputation as a wine, food and art paradise, including being awarded 2017 Global Best of Wine Tourism by the Great Wine Capitals Global Network. Further complementing, Seppeltsfield’s Cellar Door is a multiple year winner of Gourmet Traveller WINE Magazine’s ‘Star Cellar Door of the Barossa Valley’ and more recently, being acknowledged as winner of the ‘Wineries, distilleries or breweries’ category in the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
Seppeltsfield is proud to be an exclusive member of Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia, an elite collective of estates offering unforgettable experiences beyond the traditional cellar door.
