Since its establishment in the 1851, Seppeltsfield has had its roots firmly planted in fortified wine styles. Strengthened through the addition of either Brandy or neutral spirit and often aged in oak barrels for decades at a time, the wines are complex, alluring and representative of Australia’s pioneering wine styles.
Along with more contemporary expressions, Seppeltsfield continues to produce its flagship fortified wine; Tawny, as well as Apera (Australian Sherry) – crossing Fino to Oloroso styles – Tokay and Muscat, which are all held in vast Solero nursery cellars.
